Show Your Gems! – an evening at the Crystal Ballroom in the Rice Hotel, Houston, TX to celebrate the best of the best - The 2010 Graphic Excellence Awards Gala sponsored by Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast. The annual award competition featured the work of Houston and surrounding area printers.
MMPO once again sparkled garnering the BEST OF DIVISION award with the stunning Winter Ball 2010 invitation in blue pastels with soft blue and silver foils. Additionally, MMPO took home 12 Best of Category Awards, 19 Awards of Excellence and 2 Awards of Merit! “Fabulous clients who demand quality and creativity make us who we are” stated Jeanne Sims, president of MMPO.
MMPO Wins Top Customer Service Award
Jeanne and Steve Sims were presented the award for best CUSTOMER SERVICE by Robert R. Titus, President of Minuteman Press International Inc. Wednesday, November 11 at the regional meeting of franchise owners. “The award is presented only to those franchise owners whose commitment to every customer exemplifies the high standards of personal and professional service that are the hallmarks of Minuteman Press.” In addition to this CUSTOMER SERVICE award, MMPO has been recognized by the franchisor over the years with Awards for QUALITY, MARKETING, TOP APPEARANCE and OVERALL TOP PERFORMING FRANCHISE.

MMPO Celebrates Graphic Excellence Awards
The Digital Division Gold Award presented to Jeanne Sims by event sponsor Jeff Sadler, Prisco.
The Downtown Aquarium, Houston, Texas was the place to be as the top printers in the Gulf Coast region were recognized at the 2009 Graphic Excellence Awards Gala. It was a winner - not just for those companies winning show awards, but for the guests who had the chance to look at entries representing the best printing, enjoy a delicious meal and visit with other industry professionals, Over 250 guests attended. Twenty-eight trophies were presented including special awards such as Best Use of Ink, Best Student Entry, Division Awards, and Best in Show. MINUTEMAN PRESS · POST OAK received 3 of these top awards.

“Jewels, The Winter Ball Program”, digitally printed with die cut inserts of lunar blue was a judges favorite and garnered the GOLD AWARD IN THE DIGITAL DIVISION. The program showcased photos by Gittings®.
The four color process, die cut “Jewels” invitation, which included a bookmark, was awarded the BEST OF DIVISION I trophy which was presented by award sponsor Eastman Kodak.
The “Hunting Art Prize Folder” printed in two PMS colors with intricate die cuts, foil stamping and embossing took the BRONZE IN DIVISION I. PrintStaff of Houston, presented the award.
MINUTEMAN PRESS · POST OAK was also awarded “Best of Category” in 14 areas, 1 Award of Excellence and 5 Awards of Merit. “Our fabulous clients trust and give us the opportunity to create and produce exciting work.
